It isn't often a scientist gets called a genius within his lifetime, but when he creates a private school for minds looking to pursue their dreams, we also get to call him a role model.
Max Modell is the director and founder of Horizon High, a school for young geniuses.[2] Max learned of Peter Parker's secret as Spider-Man and later hires him to be his assistant in testing a new symbiote.[3] When Dr. Connors found out, he was put under investigation, and was eventually fired upon Connors blackmailing Spider-Man to unmask himself before the board of directors.[4] He was eventually reinstated when Peter found evidence that Norman Osborn had framed him.[5]
