May Parker was the daughter of Peter Parker, the King in Black, and Mary Jane Watson, host of the legendary Arachniote symbiote. The two of them ruled together as King and Queen, but MJ was eventually consumed by the Arachniote, which broke Peter. He never trusted anyone again, blaming his friends, his daughter, and himself. He took command of the Symbiotes to forcefully bring peace to the universe, violently reshaping space and destroying all who opposed him. May eventually left him and fled to his enemies in Grootspace.[1]
As Arachniote
May eventually bonded with her mother's Arachniote symbiote, which was separated from the Symbiote Hive and thus inaccessible to the King in Black. As Arachniote she joined the Avengers, who allied with the Guardians of the Galaxy in a last desperate attempt to stop her father. Parker's Spider-Sense warned him of their threat and he came to face them. Deluded into believing that he was protecting the living and honoring the memory of the fallen, Peter slaughtered all of his former friends until only Arachniote remained. He blamed the symbiote for taking his wife, his friends, and his daughter. Arachniote said that May was not lost, but Peter replied that through the Symbiote Hive he could see every moment in time and that his daughter was gone, before impaling her. With her last words, May revealed her face and told her father that she and the symbiote were not gone, but merely not his, before dying in his arms.[1]
