History
May is the aunt of Peter Parker. When May was unable to continue paying rent, Peter took up a job as a photographer for the Daily Bugle using his Uncle Ben's old camera. When he had brought her the money to pay her rent, May initially thought Peter was doing something illegal, but Peter just told her that he was taking pictures of birds.[1]
