History
Aunt May and Uncle Ben raised their nephew Peter after his parents died.[citation needed] Uncle Ben was killed because Peter refused to stop a thief, leaving the two of them alone.[1] Aunt May was forever dotting on Peter, loving him as if he was her own son.[2] May tried numerous times to set Peter up with her friend Anna Watson's niece, Mary Jane.[3] May was unaware that Peter was Spider-Man, and felt very strong dislike for the wallcrawler.[citation needed]
Notes
- Aunt May appeared in the 1990s Spider-Man: The Animated Series with Linda Gary reprising Aunt May for the first three seasons and later voiced by Julie Bennett in the last two seasons.
