History

As a teenager, Melanee was sailing when she was knocked on the head and fell overboard. Barely conscious, she would have drowned if she had not been saved by Namor. That was the start of a lifelong friendship.

Melanee grew up to be a lawyer working in New Orleans' district attorney's office. While investigating the King Cake Killer during Mardi Gras, Namor visited. He assisted her in capturing the killer and bringing him to justice.
