History
The Melnibonéans are an ancient race of sadistic humanoids descended from the dragons. They had formed a great empire which worshipped Arioch and lived in the capital city of Imrryr in Melniboné.[2]
After Yyrkoon usurped the throne of the Melnibonéan empire from the rightful heir Elric, he had his cousin exiled which forced the latter to find a way to reunite with his lover Cymoril. He allied with the Sea Lords to lay siege on his homeland, leading the pirates into slaughtering his own people while he searched for Cymoril. Unfortunately, Cymoril perished during the attack, leaving Elric and the Sea Lords to leave Melniboné. However, they were soon intercepted by the Dragon Masters who wished to exact revenge for their people. With no other option, Elric used his magic to only save his ship, leaving most of the Sea Lords at the Masters' mercy.[2]Powers and Abilities
