History

After Frank Castle died in the heroes of Earth's last stand against Thanos, Mephisto made a deal with him and turned him into the Ghost Rider so he could punish the Mad Titan for slaughtering his planet; however, when Castle returned to Earth, Thanos was gone and everyone on the planet had already been killed. He eventually fell silent to Castle's calls, then later helped trick Frank into selling his soul to the Mephisto of the Prime Marvel Universe.
