Mercedes Knight had a child with Danny Rand sometime after his 33rd birthday. He died at some point (though likely at the hands of this realities version of Zhou Cheng) and the pair moved to K'un-Lun. She hid the truth about his fathers death but he discovered he was being lied to on his 9th birthday.[1]
