I have noticed that your contributions in this wiki consist solely on uploading your own gameplay videos of Marvel Puzzle Quest and hosting them in the space meant for your user profile, and you include links to your YouTube channel.
I wanted to ask you if you intend to use this site for its intended purpose, that of a collaborative encyclopedia and not a hosting site to promote your own content. I also have to inform you that your uploads will be removed from the site.
Adding videos to my profile doesn’t show up in the changes on the wiki and it doesn’t affect the advertising of my channel in any way. But I place a link to my profile on Wiki under each video on YouTube for a better search for videos and my subscribers go to Wiki and this is more like a Wikipedia advertisement.
Removing a video from a personal profile??? I haven't had one on any wiki yet.
I have a very cool profile on the PvZ Wiki, they are against adding video to the pages, but not in the profile at all. If this happens, I will post anti-advertising and negative criticism of your wiki under each video.
In general, many Marvel games and cool videos are planned
The purpose of a profile page is to present yourself and express yourself as a fan, not to serve as a content-hosting platform. You don't even make use of the user page template, and instead turned that space in its entirety into nothing but a plug for your YouTube channel.
On top of that, and this is what I think is a disrespect to the purpose of a wiki, you don't even contribute to this site. If you didn't add these videos of yours, your contribution count would be zero. This feels parasitic and exploitative.
Furthermore, adding videos to your profile does show up in the Wiki Activity page. That's how I came across them.
Well. I will ask my subscribers on the main channel of the community for your comment. As they say, it will be so.
And the subscribers told me that the PvZ wiki moderator got a ban for 6 months for such comments and prohibitions
Hey, Kirkburn from Fandom Customer Support here. We do not appreciate seeing this kind of threat:
If this happens, I will post anti-advertising and negative criticism of your wiki under each video.
As ADour has mentioned, Marvel Database is intended to be a collaborative encyclopedia about Marvel, rather than a place for people to advertise their YouTube channels. If they do not feel your content is appropriate for this site, please respect that.
Additionally, I think it is extremely unlikely that we would have blocked a PvZ moderator for removing this type of content.
