  • Can you go back and correct all the "Universe 000" pages you have created. Per the naming conventions all alternate realities are designated Earth-### in this case Earth-000. I understand that issues of Superior Spider-Man refer to it as Universe 000 in Superior Spider-Man #33, but all references to alternate realities/universes are designed Earth-### not Universe ###. We adhere to the terminology used by the Marvel Handbooks.

Writers will often alternate from "Earth-###" to "Reality ###" or "Universe ###" and often switch between using a hyphen or not using a hyphen. However the Official Marvel Handbooks adhere to the "Earth-###" designations to avoid confusion. We here at the Marvel Wiki have also adhered to this. The only "exception" we make is when Marvel hasn't officially designated a reality number in which case we use our in-house TRN (Short for Temporary Reality Number) until such a time Marvel specifies one.

To change the names of the pages, click on the arrow next to the edit button and select "Rename" and change the names and enter a reason. I'd recommend "naming convention" as a reason. Please do this within the next 24 hours before the Wiki automatically populates gallery and appearance pages which are a pain in the butt to link properly after.

    Thanks

    • There's only visualeditor and History no rename. So how do I even rename it when I can't even click it.

    • 24 hours must have already elapsed. Never mind, I'll fix the pages. But for next time please do some research before blindly adding new pages.

Also it may be necessary in the future to change the name of a page and might not be able to, there is a move tag you can put at the top of the page. You can find the information for that in the Wiki-Help section. I recommend you research the various Wiki functions if you want to be a regular contributor to the site as well.

    • When you tell me that I can rename articles. But why is it that I can't rename articles.

  • Please, when you create pages for storylines, use the Storyline Template instead of the Event Template.

    Thanks.
