I didn't think I removed it, sorry! For some reason, Donald Meland (Earth-616) for me is showing up as just " Meland (Earth-616)" with a space in front of his last name? I have no idea why it's happening.
I saw you did some edits to remove years from history texts.
If I assume/recall that on those, the year wasn't given in-media, if a date is mentioned in a comics, better stick with the date and add a ref about the sliding timescale. But in those case you did, it doesn't apply, as much as I recall.
Alright. I was just adding members listed on the Spider-Men (Earth-TRN461) page that weren't yet part of the category Category:Spider-Men members (Earth-TRN461). Should I not do that? I edited that page a while ago so I have been following it, and it seems like people just add random Spider-people, some of which don't even have appearances in the game (Spider-Man: Unlimited) listed on their pages, so the whole thing seems sort of inaccurate. (the only reason I bring this up is several of my edits have been undone asking for a source, at which point I realized that there didn't seem to be one.) I also have not played the game, I was just trying to improve consistency between the page and the character's pages listed on it.
Yeah, I think it may be unclear what reality the characters from the game originated from, so it's probably best not to spend a lot of time adding content that requires the assumption they're the commonly known iterations, especially on something that's quasi-canon at best. (If you really want to work on that topic, then maybe ADour might know more about how best to proceed.)
A few years ago, we started implementing a new and more stylish way to write that a character has virtually the same or similar powerset to their Earth-616 counterparts. Considering you've been editing some pages to make that part look better, I though it would help telling you the way it's being done currently:
"Seemingly those of the XXXX XXXX of Earth-616."
"Seemingly those of the Tony Stark of Earth-616."
sounds good! I'm making my way through a advanced google search of pages that just say "Seemingly those of XXXX XXXX (Earth-616)#Powers," so I'm not going to go back and re-edit all ~150 pages I just finished, but I will do it for all the ones I edit in the future.
