  • Please, remember whenever you add new information to properly reference it every single time.

    If your source is a comic, TV episode, movie, etc., you just need to put between {{r| and }} the issue/episode/movie in which the events you just described happened. Like this:

    Tony Stark became Iron Man.{{r|Tales of Suspense Vol 1 39}}

    If your source is a web site, refer to this page on how to cite web pages in articles.

    Remember that having the information we display referenced is what makes us a reliable source of knowledge, so even though it wasn't always the policy here on the Marvel Database, it's now considered extremely important (see also Citing Sources).

    Thanks!

    • Hey, I added with the footnotes that this was all from the OHOTMU series, not my own writing, so I was not plagiarizing.

    • It's still plagiarism if it's not in your own words, a reference simply credits the original writer and allows for peer review, it is not a license to plagiarize.

    • The citations only serve the purpose to reference where the information was taken from, they don't ascertain that you're acknowledging you're copying the text word-by-word.

      A better alternative would've been to carify more explicitly that you took the text from a handbook, with a few words in the Notes section stating the material in the page was taken directly from that source and was not of your own creation.

      And if that's the case, it would require quotation marks.

  • I've undid your edit on Atleza Langunn (Earth-616) because:

    • It is unreferenced (you've been noticed about references four times).
    • It seems to be partly plagiarized from other sites.

    Thanks to provide original and referenced edits.

    Have a good day.
