  • Hi!

    I'm not an American, but your statement seems to suffer from a too much generalization ([1]).

    Also, we have to stick to the facts known in comics, movies, etc.

    • Its ok we are all here to help each other out, PHD is a Doctorate so it is counted. and I re-looked up Battlefield Commissions and they actually disappeared after the Vietnam War.

      If we want to be exact we can limit it to Earth-199999 the only exemptions that could possibly exist in that reality as of now are Captain America , COL Chester Phillips and Possibly Nick Fury due the Fact that he was a CIA operative during the cold war that ended in 1991 looking the same age as he does now, and to his internal dialog of "old man" and the quote of "Take your pick." when asked by Banner which war he lost his eye in Iron Man/The Incredible Hulk/Nick Fury Vol 1 1 creating speculation.

      The other realities due to marvels sliding time scale unless stated that they entered after Vietnam or attended a college like Thaddeus Ross (Earth-616) we leave them alone

    • We have agreed with an other Admin here, on the basis of the "things have to be stated at least a bit" rule, based on the multiversal diversity and of the lack of knowledge regarding in-universe exceptions (the most sophist logic is the "what if?" theory, as thinking they might even be alien impersonators, so without the degrees. It's of course an extreme example, with not a single clue to prove it, but neither no clue to prove it wrong. A pure sophism, but who justify that rule.).

      I will tell you if there is some discussion who start back about it.

      But still, thanks for your edits and your dedication! See you later.

  • Please, remember whenever you add new information to properly reference it every single time.

    If your source is a comic, TV episode, movie, etc., you just need to put between {{r| and }} the issue/episode/movie in which the events you just described happened. Like this:

    Tony Stark became Iron Man.{{r|Tales of Suspense Vol 1 39}}

    If your source is a web site, refer to this page on how to cite web pages in articles.

    Remember that having the information we display referenced is what makes us a reliable source of knowledge, so even though it wasn't always the policy here on the Marvel Database, it's now considered extremely important (see also Citing Sources).

    Thanks!

    PS: Also, please remember to write the history articles in past tense.
