History
Synn was Chief of the Kinjorge tribe from Mount Suruba in Eastern Africa. He is a direct descendant of 18th century English settlers to that area and came to rule the tribe as its strongest warrior.[1] Micah came to New York City with his two wives M'tha and Sra and became an instant celebrity. As such, his handler, Horatio Piper, asked the law firm of Nelson and Murdock to represent his client.
Foggy Nelson readily agreed despite Matt Murdock's silent concerns to boost publicity for their firm. However, the law firm immediately had problems with Micah and his savage ways. For example, Synn took food from vendors without paying and fought anyone, including police officers, who tried to stop him.
Murdock's reservations about Synn proved prophetic, as Micah began an intimate relationship with Foggy Nelson's wife Debbie. The two eventually divorced after the affair became public.
He was a dangerous combatant and, for a time, Synn was an almost constant adversary of Daredevil, even attempting to sacrifice Kingpin's wife Vanessa to his tribe's god before being stopped by Daredevil and Kingpin working together. Daredevil suspected that Micah had detected his "scent" and guessed his secret identity as Matt Murdock.[2] Synn eventually weakened due to his poor diet and the polluted environment of New York City. He was beaten by three homeless people and was saved by Daredevil. On his knees, a weakened Synn begged Daredevil to "help me".[3]Attributes
