History

Father Michael Bowen was the uncle of Dagger, Tandy Bowen. He established a self-help relief agency for boat people and helped Xuân Cao Mạnh rent an apartment, secure employment and prepare her two little siblings Leong and Nga to enter school.

When the children were kidnapped by their uncle Nguyen, he sheltered Xi'an in his church, she remained there until she was found by Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four.
