History
Father Michael Bowen was the uncle of Dagger, Tandy Bowen. He established a self-help relief agency for refugees and illegal immigrants who flee their country by boat and helped Xuân Cao Mạnh rent an apartment, secure employment and prepare her two little siblings Leong and Nga to enter school.
When the children were kidnapped by their uncle Nguyen, he sheltered Xi'an in his church, she remained there until she was found by Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four.[1]
Father Bower was eventually attacked by Mr. Jip and place a spell on him that would turn him into Mr. Jip to rampage at night after Mr. Jip was initially destroyed by Dagger. Bowen eventually attacked Cloak and Dagger and died from his injuries during their battle.[2]Trivia
- Michael is a military veteran. He served in the Korean War, where he apparently learned judo.[3]
