History
He was one of the Magneto's X-Men. Quire and Glob suggested to him to use "Cyclops" as codename, as they have similar powers, but he refused, because he despised Scott Summers, and preferred to name himself "Basilisk".
Along with Magneto and the rest of his X-Men, Basilisk planned to force humankind to truly embrace mutantkind's status as the dominant species by hatching the Phoenix Egg, which contained Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force.[1] However, Kid Omega was working against Magneto and bonded with the Phoenix Egg before Magneto killed, causing the Egg to go dormant and crush Magneto to death.[2]
When the Egg finally hatched, Jean Grey was possessed by Cassandra Nova[3] and took control of most of Magneto's X-Men, including Basilisk. When Wolverine killed Jean Grey, her death caused an explosion that killed everyone in sight, including Basilisk.[4]Attributes
Powers
Optic Blasts: He can shot powerful energy blast from his eye and is able to control direction of its movement, for example, turning it around and attack someone behind him.[1]
