History
In June of 1967, SP5 Phillips was one of the new replacements for the 4/23rd Mechanized Infantry.[1]
Phillips watched Sergeant Little complaining in vain to his superiors about Lt. Alarnick.[2]
In August of 1967, Ice rescued Marine pilots Irish and Drum when their plane was hit by N.V.A. fire.[3]
He later participated in an outdoor mission with Royal Thai Army Sergeant Bo.[4]
