Michael Prescott was an Empire State University student who bribed a hidden cell of Skrull refugees to help him falsify control results in a paper that was published in three separate academic journals. He was eventually found out, and he became an example used by Cindy Lawton to justify the necessity for the E.S.U.'s latest innovation, an anti-plagiarism software called Watchr.[1]
