Synopsis for "The World of Never-Summer!"

The Micronauts attack one of Baron Karza’s courier ships led by Captain D’Ark to seek information about where he’ll next strike and learn it to be a world called Never-Summer. Meanwhile, on Never-Summer, Chief Ojeeg, chief of one of the planet’s tribes seeks the advice of the shaman to help overcome his people’s unrelenting hunger and is told of a vision the shaman has had about the sun being hidden by the ice gods and the need to challenge them by climbing a mountain.

Atop that same mountain, Baron Karza oversees the readying of the sunscope, a weapon designed to boil the planet of Never-Summer as a demonstration of his power to rule the Microverse. The Micronauts meanwhile land on Never-Winter and begin climbing the mountain to fight Baron Karza at the same time as Chief Ojeeg. Ojeeg arrives and encounters Karza directly, thinking him a god initially but upon his realization that Karza is actually intent on destroying his planet, he attacks and is rebuffed. The Micronauts arrive and attempt to battle with Baron Karza while Chief Ojeeg sacrifices himself to destroy the sunscope which inadvertently succeeds in bringing summer to the planet instead of destroying it. Baron Karza flees the planet in failure as the Micronauts discover Ojeeg’s corpse and marvel at his sacrifice.
