Captain America goes to a cafe on behalf of the Avengers, he plans to meet up with a member of the X-Men to swap details on enemies with, much to his dismay, he ends up meeting with Wolverine. The two argue over pointless things until they are interrupted by a waitress who mistakes Wolverine for Thor. They swap information disks and there is an explosion outside, the two leave the cafe and Wolverine hijacks a car for them.

Synopsis for "Tomb of Dracula (Part 1)"

Blade tracks a not-quite-human, not-quite-vampire woman to a bar. When he gets there she is attacked by a vampire named Hector, who Blade quickly disposes of. He then finds out she has left. Blade follows her back home, the two fight and then nearly kiss but are interrupted by a video call for her from a man named Noah. She leaves to see Noah.
Where Noah is, he introduces the team members for his mission, Benjamin Soloman Alomii who specializes in hunting the adze vampire and killed his vampire wife and children, Michiyo Watanabe who specializes in hunting the Yikki Onna (Asian snow vampire), she is hunting for the one that killed her father. There is also Lucas Telling-Stone who is a mute, that specializes in learning about vampires and also weaponry, he can communicate by telepathy and Enzo Ferrara, a former priest who specializes in knowing how to kill every type of vampire. He explains they plan to kill Dracula, but Blade intervenes and is allowed to join because he is the only one who has fought Dracula before. It is then revealed that Noah's full name is Noah van Helsing and the woman that Blade met earlier (who is also on the team) is named Divinity Drake and is a human descendant of Dracula.

Synopsis for "Ride of the Valkyrie"

Defenders (Vol. 2) #4

The Story picks up with the Defenders taking on the legions of the dead. But are being overwhelmed. During this time Pluto and the Ice Queen battle for control over the Valkyrie they have created. In a flash of light the Valkyrior led by the real Asgardian Valkyrie arrive on the scene and attack the army of the dead. The Asgardian Valkyrie tells the Defender to battle Pluto and Ice Queen, which they do. The new Valkyrie is in great pain caused by the power struggle by her creators. Doctor Strange tells the Defenders to hold back as he can see the new Valkyrie is being torn mentally in half. The new Val turns on her creators and sends them flying. The Defenders then prepare to aid the new Valkyrie in battle against the two when Zeus appears causing the villains to flee. The battle has ended and the Valkyrior have won, whilst the new Valkyrie lies the old man to rest Brunnhilde tells the new Valkyrie to join the Defenders which she does, the new Valkyrie is then given Brunhilde's horse Aragorn and her sword, Dragonfang. She then flies off to Asgard. The Sub-Mariner and Hulk argue and the Sub-mariner plans to return to Atlantis. The Hulk runs off angrily and the Silver Surfer flies off for some alone time. The rest of the Defenders return to Doctor Strange's home.
