Miguel Ferrer worked as a writer for Marvel Comics between 1987 and 1990. His creations include the character Comet Man, among others.
Miguel Ferrer, son to Oscar-winning actor Jose Ferrer, also had a prolific acting career. His breathrough role was with the movie Robocop (1987, Paul Verhoeven), which had a comic-book adaptation published by Marvel. Ferrer also portrayed Vice President Rodriguez in Iron Man 3 (2013, Shane Black). Part of Ferrer's career was a voice actor, in several TV shows: He voiced Silvermane in the second season of the animated series Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009). Other superhero-related voice roles include, for DC, Aquman and the Weather Wizard for Superman: The Animated Series (1996-2000), Sinestro for Batman (2004-2008), and Bibbo Bibbowski, L-1 and Vandal Savage for Young Justice (2010-2022).Work History

- Spider-Man 2099 creator Peter David named the hero's alter-ego, Miguel O'Hara, after Miguel Ferrer.[1]
