History

El Conquistador was a mutant who used his abilities to establish himself as crimelord for which he enjoyed his lifestyle from a mansion in Madrid. He tried to extort the town of San Elainya, but one of its residents, Migdalia, contacted El Águila. El Águila travelled to the village and defeated several of el Conquistador's henchmen which drew their boss back to the village. El Águila was initially caught off guard due to no knowledge that the Conquistador had any superhuman abilities. El Águila recovered and defeated him by severing his link with the Earth, returning him to true form.

He was later de-powered after M-Day.

Provenza formerly possessed the mutant power to draw power from the Earth for a variety of effects. He could control plant life, earth and soil, and give himself superhuman strength and durability and to increase in size. He used this aspect of his power to give himself a more impressive muscular appearance, but when he lost his power he reverted to his formerly short and pudgy form.

Weaknesses

Provenza's power was vulnerable to electricity.
