History
Miguel Stone is the son of Tyler Stone and Conchata O'Hara.[2] Similar to his Earth-928 counterpart, Miguel underwent an experiment that mixed his DNA with that of a spider's.[3] He would succeed his father as the Baron of 2099, CEO of Alchemax, and leader of the Avengers.[2]
Defenders[]
After an attempt on Roberta Mendez's life, Stone sent the Avengers to investigate Martin Hargood, who he believed to have hired the assassin.[3]
When the Avengers came back, they brought with them the vigilante group known as the Defenders. Miguel offered them a place at Alchemax, but they declined. Since it was illegal to be a superhero team independent of Alchemax and declared them criminals.[4]
During the team's escape, Miguel's father unexpectedly arrived for a visit. Tyler would demand more say in the direction of Alchemax.[2] Meanwhile, Hargood would summon the Dweller-in-Darkness. Miguel called the Defenders, allowing them to intervene without being arrested. While the heroes dealt with the eminent danger, he took his father to the safe room. On the way there, Tyler revealed that he was the one who ordered the assassination of Captain America causing Miguel to murder his father out of vengeance. After the danger was averted, Miguel retracted his order of declaring the Defenders as outlaws.[5]See Also
