History

Mikas was an android construct, used by 'Mr.Kline', himself an android sent from the distant future by a super-computer to avert that very future from ever occurring. As part of this, Mikas was deployed to destroy Iron Man through mental manipulation of Marianne Rogers, his then-girlfriend. This plan, which involved deception after deception, ultimately failed and while Iron Man and Rogers escaped with their lives, Mikas was crushed under falling debris and destroyed. Mikas was not aware that he was an android, believing instead he was a near-godlike mutant whose powers came from the Earth itself, specifically geothermal processes.
