Synopsis for "The Man from Chili's Past!"
Chili is losing her self-respect, getting ever more annoyed that Millie gets all the praise and best jobs. Things come to a head when Howard announces that he is expanding the agency with a store in Boston which he wants "the brightest, prettiest and most intelligent girl I know" to manage it so he appoints Millie. Chili is eavesdropping and storms in, angry about Millie always getting the plum work, and quits the agency. The others think it's just an angry moment and expect her to come back but Millie wonders in there's truth in what Chili said. Meanwhile Chili is approached by Steve Saxon who offers her a job as top model at his agency. Chili accepts the job but repeatedly rejects Saxon's advances. Chili does a fast session with photographer Slick Wiley, noticing that he takes photos poorly and doesn't seem to reload the camera with film. She doesn't realise this is a distraction whilst Saxon borrows and copies her keys. Meanwhile at the Hanover agency news of Chili's new job reaches them and Millie remembers how Saxon hurt Chili in the past and hopes it doesn't happen again.
At the Saxon agency Chili is called into the office to discover designs have been "borrowed" from the Hanover agency to deliver to a rival designer. Saxon plays on Chili's insecurities about Millie's popularity and promises that Chili will achieve great fame out of this. Chili succumbs and then Saxon explains one design couldn't be found but she would have a better chance of locating it. Chili reluctantly agrees to go to the Hanover agency at night to take it. That night she moves through the rooms, memories of how good to her Millie has been. Chili stops and realises she is committing a crime and destroying herself. She sits and cries all night. The next morning the others arrive and Chili confesses. Howard calls the police to charge Saxon and Wiley but leaves Chili out of it, feeling she made a mistake but had the courage to stop and show honesty. She is welcomed back wit open arms and told she and Toni will be running the Boston store with Millie. Chili cries at the realisation of what loyal friends she has.
