History
Mint Julep was created during the initial occupation of earth by the Martian Masters as part of their experiments with splicing humans with other forms of terrestrial life. Around the year 2003, the Martian Masters took a human embryo and left it develop. At around 2 months old they injected with the chemical components of Euglena, a single celled organism, and chlorophyll.[1]
Around 2015, after spending years in a laboratory facility, she escaped and formed a rebel group known as the "Freewomen". After a few years together opposing the Martians, several members were kidnapped and Julip allied with Killraven and his Freemen to destroy the base and free all those imprisoned. When Killraven was captured by Abraxas, Julip helped the Freemen mount a rescue.[2]
Much later, she rejoined the Freemen and during a mission, she and Volcana Ash were captured by the Martians, Overlord Omega and the Extractor. The Extractor was used to obtain information that led to the capture of Killraven, the Freeman, and Black Cat and Wolverine of the Prime Marvel Universe.[3] After Wolverine escaped he freed the rest.[4]Attributes
