History

Miriam Sharpe's son Charlie died after being caught in the battle between the Avengers and Ultron when he had traveled to Sokovia to help build sustainable housing for the less fortunate.

Fueled by grief, Miriam followed Tony Stark to the M.I.T. and confronted him after a lecture, to personally reproach him for Charlie's death and blame him for the tragedy.
