History
Pre-Cataclysmic Age[]
Tuzun Thune, a wizard of the Elder Race, dwelt in Valusia, by the Lake of Visions, in the House of a Thousand Mirrors,[2] where were stored the Mirrors of Tuzun Thune in the Hall of Illusion.[1]
During the Age of Kull, circa 18,500 BC, plotting with Baron Kaanuub, Tuzun Thunes lured King Kull of Valusia in the House of a Thousand Mirrors and attempted to destroy him by offering to look into his Mirrors.
Through the Mirrors, Kull witnessed events of past and future:[1]
- In the Mirror of the Past:[2]
- In the Mirror of the Future:[2]
- The crumbling of the Seven Empires, the Sinking of Atlantis and Lemuria,[1][2]
- The rise of Acheron and its Fall at the hands of the Hyborians.[1]
- The invasion the New World, the Conquistadores and the Native Americans.[2]
Brule slew Tuzun Thune, saving Kull and revealing to him Kaanuub's plotting.[1][2]
For the thousand years it stood up, until 17,500 BC, the Hall of Illusion in the House of a Thousand Mirrors remained unvisited.[1]
Hyborian Age[]
In his youth, Kharam-Akkad somehow acquired the Mirrors, which became the sole foundation of his power.
During the Age of Conan, circa 10,000 BC, Kharam-Akkad came to abhor the Mirrors as they showed him Conan slaying him.[1]See Also
