History
After stealing the infant body of Rachel Summers, the Shadow King traveled to Muir Island. He intended to use Eric the Red's machinery to age Rachel into a suitable host body, just as Eric once did for Magneto. When the Phoenix followed Shadow King to Muir, she telepathically kept Moira and Banshee asleep and out of the way.[1]
