History
This version of Moira MacTaggert came from a possible future of her tenth life, diverging from her original self.
Feeling betrayed by the mutants after the events of Inferno, Moira allied herself with the Sentinels, helping them to destroy Krakoa along with the circuit of mutant resurrection. The network of Cradles was breached by a virus and Charles Xavier became a prisoner inside his own Cerebro Helmet before being brutally killed by Moira. She then displayed his body on a pike until it rotted to the bones.[1] As Nimrod and the Sentinels tore down what remained of Krakoa, only Wolverine escaped the destruction. He was eventually captured and put into the Preserve by Homo novissima who had evolved over the centuries. Moira spend centuries watching him in captivity, noting that his attempts to escape have been half-hearted. On the verge of post-humanity's ascension into the Phalanx, Moira finally approached Wolverine and revealed her desire for revenge against the mutants as both her motive and the means by which they were eradicated. She then injected the last mutants with the Phalanx virus, but Wolverine clawed a Krakoan seen seed from inside the body and let it grow around him, which took him into the past to Earth-616.[2]Attributes
