History
The Mole Mensch was a super-villain. During the Silver Age, he allied with fellow villains Green Goblin, Juggernaut Magneeto and Red Skulker to jointly attack the original X-Persons. The bad guys overcame the heroes by sheer numbers but then the Boast of the X-Persons released the foul smell of his huge feets. All the villains, including the Mole Mensch, retreated in defeat.[4]
The Mole Mensch later moved to Leonia, New Jersey, and was accepted by his new neighbors. However, when the android Vizzion and his wife mutant Scarlet Wench bought a house there and moved in, several neighbors demonstrated against the situation: They did not want weirdos like those living among them. The Mole Mensch joined his neighbors Frankenstein's Monster and Scrooge McDuck to oppose the newcomers. However, the Wench incongruently explained how they had no chance to prevent their presence, and the demonstrators left.[5]
The Mole Mensch eventually left Leonia and started living at the Home for Dead and Forgotten Comic Book Characters. Fortunately there were ways out of there,[3] and the Mole Mensch eventually escaped and started living underground. Literally underground: Under Central Park. At one point, the Silver Burper crashlanded there; the Mole Mensch protuded from the floor and asked his "upper neighbours" to reduce the noise.[6]
Not being exiled from surface, the Mole Mensch attended to a surface-dwellers show: He was in the audience off TV's "Super villain dating game", watching host Jim Lame and contestat Trixie LaRue, who chose bachelor number three.[2]
Ruling the underground kingdom Subterranea, the Mole Mensch got a reputation among his monstruous subjects of having metaphorical tunnel vision (because literal tunnel vision was unavoidable). Changing his style, the Mole Mensch agreed to host a rockin' festival, for which he asked for the music band Fantastical Four. The Mole Mensch in person watched the shown from his throne, with the monsters being thankful about the change. The Mole Mensch, however, claimed that Tricephalous singing along, in three different keys, was unfortunate.[1]Attributes
