History
The Monks of Dakoth-Kuru were an ancient and secretive order of monks that served no deity but sought enlightenment through meditation and herbal means, ultimately achieving the ability to unlock the full potential of the human brain. This gave them powerful mental abilities and the ability to bend space. The Black Abbott was one such adherent to the order and he discovered that he could feed off the mind energies of other monks which sapped them of their free will and allowed him to create the Black Apostles.[1]
