Synopsis for "The 11:10 to Murder"
The Monster boards a moving train freight car and encounters a hobo girl who accepts his presence. Shots are heard from within the next car and the girl encourages the mute creature to investigate. She finds a newspaper on the floor which states the President is supposed to be making a train trip and she assumes assassins have boarded the train and are making their way to the car the President is stationed in. The assassins overwhelm the secret service men protecting the President, but the monster kills the assassins. When the monster and the girl reach his car, the girl is shocked to discover that there is only a dummy in it. She realizes the news story had been a decoy in order to deal with the possible assassination attempt and encourages the creature to leave the train when it stops so as to not take the blame for all the killings. The monster does so, and when the train starts up again, a final assassin lobs a grenade into the compartment where the girl was sitting with the decoy dummy, killing the girl. The monster cries at the loss of his friend.
