Synopsis for "Red Sins"
A doctor informs Reuben Davis, a student of Elias Spector’s, that Elias isn’t responding to chemotherapy and he’s obligated to inform Marc Spector of the situation despite Davis’s protests due to their prolonged estrangement.
At Grant Mansion, Steven Grant is busy reviewing the records of Marc Spector when Marlene receives a call and informs him of his father’s situation. He initially wishes to avoid the situation but Marlene insists and he relives his young adult years in which his father always refused to fight against his persecutors and frowned upon Marc’s choice to make money boxing. They became estranged and Marc then decided to join the Marines.
Flying on a helicopter with Frenchie, Moon Knight sees a synagogue on fire and rescues a man attempting to save its Torah scrolls. After seeing a swastika painted on the synagogue walls, he becomes irate and encounters a Neo-Nazi gang at their hideout where he brutalizes them until Detective Flint arrives and stops him.
Later, Steven and Marlene arrive to Chicago too late to see his father alive and attend his funeral services, led by Reuben Davis. They have a somewhat cold encounter afterwards and Marc speaks of his need to remain in Chicago for a few days to go through his father’s things. Steven later decides to visit the grave of his father where he encounters more Neo-Nazis tagging swastikas on gravestones. An enraged Steven Grant fights with them and is assisted by Marlene, but she soon discovers that his father’s grave is empty. The final scene reveals a robed and masked figure appearing to initiate a ritual with the casketed body of Elias Spector.
