Synopsis for "Bluebeard's Castle"
A woman has been kidnapped and is being dragged to a castle by a man dressed as a pirate and going by the name Bluebeard. Inside the castle are other captive women chained to posts. He speaks of seeking a fifth "bride" to be joining them soon and forewarns of their deaths.
At the Upper East Side police precinct, Detective Flint shoos away a nosy reporter before being greeted by Moon Knight. Flint asks him for help tracking down Bluebeard but is rebuffed as Moon Knight seeks to rid himself of his Good Samaritan reputation.
At the New York Metro newsroom, Kate Brick is mocking the reporter Flint had pushed away as he seeks to squeeze out an update on Bluebeard before the deadline. Her remarks indicate that his job was at risk before the Bluebeard story broke.
Spector is working out when he is interrupted by Spence telling him that Katherine Brick will be at his gallery to purchase a Van Gogh. He is subsequently haunted by visions from the Priests of Khonshu while Brick is shown to be kidnapped by Bluebeard. As Moon Knight, he returns to Flint to help with his case. He finds a clue in Perril's office, the reporter with the Bluebeard leads: a poster of "Bluebeard's Castle", a former haunted house in an abandoned New Jersey theme park.
Moon Knight goes there and encounters Bluebeard and the kidnapped women. A fight ensues and Moon Knight almost succumbs to a unique ray described as a "neuron ray" but wins the fight and reveals Bluebeard to be the disgraced reporter. Brick reveals that the Bluebeard story is what had saved his job.
Spector decides to visit Marlene and her new beau, Eric Fontaine. Marlene opens the door and is questioned by Eric about the visitor and Spector makes an aggressive comment before discovering that Eric is wheelchair-bound.
