Synopsis for "God and Country: Chapter 4"

The news continues to surge as Moon Knight’s involvement in the murder of the Whyo gang member goes public. Rob and Frenchie turn off the TV news coverage; Marlene leaves a message for Marc; and Tony Stark is waiting to hear back from Dr. Depford, who hangs himself when S.H.I.E.L.D. agents arrive at his office to question him.

Meanwhile, Carson Knowles has enlisted someone to build armor and weapons for him; someone he proceeds to murder in lieu of payment. Detective Flint and his partner are at the crime scene some time later and find the dead man with a crescent carved into his forehead. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents arrive and take over the investigation, concluding that Moon Knight is clearly responsible. In the face of the evidence, Flint can't refute them.

Marlene and Marc sit down at a diner to talk. She tells him she ran into Carson Knowles and that he seems to be reformed, but Marc refuses to believe that Carson has changed. Marc loses his temper at Marlene and storms out. Across town, Carson is at the Essex Hotel when he overhears a Stark Tech bio-tech weapon has been stolen.

Marc finds Nedda and Samuels watching more negative news coverage of Moon Knight and destroys the TV in a fit of rage, telling the two to get out of his house. Marc heads down to the garage and gets in a heated argument with Ray about Ray's decision to fire on the Whyo gang, as Khonshu eggs Marc on. Suddenly, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Iron Man blow a hole in the wall. They have come to arrest Marc.

Solicit Synopsis

In the age of the Superhuman Registration Act, the only good hero is one that plays by the book - which the card-carrying Moon Knight most assuredly does not. Indeed, with Moon Knight fast becoming the poster child for recklessness and brutality, the question of the day is just how he got a Registration Card in the first place! As Tony Stark's investigation unearths the ugly truth, Marc Spector braces himself for the consequences, unaware that an equally grave threat is preparing to strike. Carson Knowles - a.k.a. the Black Spectre - is back and he wants payback.
