History

Wally Bevins, an accountant from New Orleans, was possessed by a Loa, an evil spirit that turned him into the cult leader Moondog. Brother Voodoo disbanded his cult in New Orleans, but Moondog escaped and eventually made his way to New York. He rebuilt his cult in an abandoned theatre where he fought Brother Voodoo, this time accompanied by Spider-Man. After being thrown off a catwalk, the evil spirit left Mr. Bevins's body.

• Moondog was mentioned in a back-up page in Web of Spider-Man Annual #3, as one of Spidey's forgotten foes.
