- This film's release date has been pushed back multiple times, some due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
- In March 2020, the film was moved from its initial July 31, 2020 release to March 19, 2021.[7]
- In January 2021, the film was moved back once again to October 8th, 2021.[8]
- Days later, the film was moved back further to January 21, 2022, immediately after the James Bond film No Time to Die was moved to the previous October 8th date.[9]
- On April 30, 2021, the film had its release date pushed by a week to January 28, 2022.[10]
- On January 3, 2022, the film had its release date pushed to April 1, 2022, with Sony citing the financial success with the film Spider-Man: No Way Home as the motivator.[11]
