History

Sinclair's family was important and they have relevant connections;[2] her father was a criminal and had links with other criminals including Spanish Paco Cardenas, who invited the Sinclairs (including seven-year-old Morgan) to his ranch.[3] Sinclair's father was murdered and they tried to cover this up; it was just one in a string of murders.[2] Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), who owned controlling interest in the Eurotunnel, aimed to replace the key men in European's main crime families to unify all the continent's trade, legitimate and illegitimate.[4]

By then an engineering supervisor of the tunnel on the English Channel, she was taken hostage there by asssasin Snakebite when the Punisher traced him there.[5] When she tried to release herself by scratching his face and chest while in Calais (inadvertently snatching an important document with his hit list, including Sinclair's relatives and family friends), Snakebite slapped here and would have executed her, but the Punisher arrived in time to save her. Although Snakebite defeated the Punisher, he decided to leave withouth killing Sinclair, lest other people arrived. She was then jailed with the Punisher by the Interpol in a holding station in Paris, but when a corrupt cop was ordered to murder the Kingpin, he decided to kill her too; noticing she was attractive (and was partially undressed because she kept the note in her underwear), the cop tried to enjoy her body, but the Punisher released himself, knocked down the cop and escaped with her. Exchanging information, Sinclair told the Punisher where to find the following target, her "Uncle" Phillipe Delon but, as this was related to her father's murder, she insisted in going with the Punisher to save Delon in Vosges. They did not arrive in time to save Delon, and they confronted the assassins before escaping; while doing so, Sinclair had to shoot Batroc. Punishe rand Sinclair's helicopter was downed [2] They survived and followed the trail to Rottweil, with Sinclair pretending to be the Punisher's wife. They were received by the gangster Bear who, believing them to be the American contacts, first played with them, then sent the Punisher in a supposed "hunt" with him as the prey and the Bear's men tracking him; he kept Sinclair tied. However, the Bear was misguided and was then found and killed by the real American gangster, Snakebite. Mentioning he was working for Fisk, Snakebite left a bomb to get rid of "loose ends", even recognizing Sinclair there, and left. The Bear survived due to kevlar under his clothes and tried to use a secret escapeway, but the Punisher arrived, surprisingly alive. They fought, with Sinclair telling the Punisher about the bomb, and the Punisher finally killed the Bear using a hunting trap. The Punisher got rid of the bomb, and Sinclair explained how Wilson Fisk was technically her boss.[1]

They went to Geneva to save another target, Ginelli, but, as the Punisher was busy at a critical time when his contact Microchip briefed him with critical information, Sinclair interfered herself. This led to a car chase in which Sinclair drove, the Punisher shot, and Batroc even jumped on the car; but she braked and he fell. She refused to run over Batroc with the car. The Punisher dropped the enemy's helicopter and the Italian gangster agreed to reveal information, but in their following cabin stop, they were ambushed by Tarantula and his goons; Sinclair was captured again[4] and taken, to her surprise, to Cardenas' ranch, along with Ginelli and the Punisher. Cardenas released Sinclair and at her request agreed to listen to Punisher's warnings, but he believed to be protected. The Kingpin's men attacked due to Cardenas having been betrayed by his nephew Miguel; Cardenas accused Tarantula, then was killed by Miguel, who then engaged with the Punisher. Tarantula wanted to get even on Miguel for the affront, but Batroc arrived and challenged him; then Sinclair aimed a gun at Batroc. Kingpin's minion Rápido aimed at Sinclair; but the Punisher caused an estampede in the ranch that gave them a chance to escape; Tarantula saved Sinclair, then Sinclair took Cardena's small plane and they rescued the Punisher.[3]

Back in London, the Kingpin briefed his allies (including Microchip, Sinclair, Tarantula and vigilante Outlaw) on his plan to stop the Kingpin from murdering the heads of the European crime syndicates in a meeting at the Omni Tower. As an executive employee of Transmanche, she had access to the building, and was told where to go to reach a certain room where, with Microchip's instruction, she could open an access. Of course there were complications: She was expected to reach the roof, but that could not be done. Instead, however, she cut Snakebite's escape, aiming a gun at him.[3] However, Snakebite surprised her with hidden guns, shooting at her. She survived and recovered in time to help the Punisher against Snakebite, pushing him off the roof. Sinclair was hospitalized and, visited by the Outlaw, she decided not to get involved in violent gun businesses again.[6]
