History

Morpheus is the Olympian god of sleep and dreams. He visited a sleeping Imp and Jefferson Vandermeer with his horse Nightmare to supply the two with a nightmare for his own amusement. The nightmare provided Morpheus with so many laughs that he fell from his cloud injuring himself.

Notes

• Despite his horse being called Nightmare there is no known connection between it and the demonic Nightmare.
