History
Mortimer Freebish, AKA Arrow Ace (or possibly Arrowsmith; he couldn't decide) was an aspiring super-villain who kidnapped the Falcon's bird, Redwing, in order to lure the hero into combat in order to establish a rep for himself. His stated aim was to become 'the greatest villain this side of Doctor Doom' in order to attract girls. He was quite spectacularly unsuccessful in this venture, since the Falcon took him out in about five seconds after he accidentally blinded himself with his own 'opti-arrow' (he'd forgotten to wear his protective lenses).[1]
