History

Senator Morton Clegstead was the man who started the funding for Project Greenskin, also known as the Hulkbusters. Of course, he did have ulterior motives for wanting the Hulk captured; long before Jennifer Walters received the blood transfusion which turned her into the She-Hulk, Morton Clegstead thought to use the Hulk's blood to cure his cancer, a sort of extremely aggressive radiation therapy. Unfortunately, the results were less than satisfactory as Morton became a monster, a massive mass of cancer cells.

The oozing mass that Morton had become was eventually incinerated by a lightning strike during a battle with the Hulk who stabbed him with a flagpole to attract the bolt.
