History

Mr. Melville was a lawyer and the boss of Gwen Poole, secretly Gwenpool.

While tackling a case against Matt Murdock of Nelson and Murdock, Mr. Melville was accidentally handed a doodle depicting Murdock's secret identity as Daredevil. In order to prevent Murdock's identity getting out, Gwen opted to kill Melville, having been convinced by her symbiote that that was the best course of action. Luckily for Gwen, Melville was secretly a member of the Hand, which worked out as a great excuse for the murder.
