Quote1.png Fabulous. Now I'm in trouble, too. This has to have happened for a reason. I saved one life. Does it stop there or do I go on? Maybe this is what I've been waiting for. Maybe I'm finally part of something... bigger. Quote2.png

Synopsis for "No Normal. Part 1 of 5: Meta Morphosis"

Reprint of the 1st story from
Ms. Marvel (Vol. 3) #1

Both Kamala Khan and Nakia "Kiki" Bahadir browse the shelves at Circle Q where Bruno Carrelli works. A jolly Zoe Zimmer proudly enters the shop with Josh Richardson. While in the shop, Josh asks Bruno, Kamala and Nakia if they are available to attend his party. Kamala and Naki respond that they are unable too. After Zoe leaves the shop, Kamala defends Zoe against Nakia's insults.

Later, Kamala daydreams and writes about the Avengers in her fanfiction until her mother requests her presence at the dinner table. Kamala asks her parents if she would be able to go to Josh's party, but her father responds angrily and sends her to her room. Ignoring her father's wishes, Kamala jumps out the window and attends the party. Bruno stops Kamala and suggests that she goes back home. Angrily, she leaves as Terrigen Mist start to swallow up Jersey City.

As the Terrigen Mists activate Kamala's powers, she has a hallucination with The Avengers. She admits that she wants to look more like Captain Marvel. They disappear and Kamala finishes undergoing her Terrigenesis. She finds that she gains blond hair like Captain Marvel with a similar Ms. Marvel costume.

Synopsis for "No Normal. Part 2 of 5: All Mankind"

Reprint of the 1st story from
Ms. Marvel (Vol. 3) #2

After asking to be more like Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan finds herself with blonde hair and Captain Marvel's original suit. Her appearance constantly switches between a Captain Marvel/Ms. Marvel appearance to her normal appearance. As she struggles to stand, she finds that she is also able to become small.

She approaches drunk Zoe and Josh. Attempting to dance with Zoe, Josh accidentally throws her into the river. Kamala Khan — in the form of Ms. Marvel — rushes to help Zoe, using her new-found polymorph powers. She "embiggens" her hand to an abnormal size and reaches into the water to find her. The spectators of the event watch as Ms. Marvel attempts to change her hand to normal size.

Then, she dashes off towards the Khan Family Residence in her Ms. Marvel form, with a borrowed jumper. She clumsily enters the house through the window and enters to find an angry Abu and Ammi. They both agree that Kamala is not allowed to attend any parties. Kamala remarks on how her new powers is exactly what she has waited for.
