Synopsis for 1st story

Monica Rappaccini teleports Deadpool to a secret A.I.M. facility and offers him a job. She wants him to retrieve the baby M.O.D.O.K.s that were taken from A.I.M. by the new Ms. Marvel.

Meanwhile, a female entity composed of pure yellow energy is trying to get to the baby M.O.D.O.K.s at Avengers Tower, but is confronted by Ms. Marvel, Iron Patriot, Venom, and Captain Marvel. Iron Patriot discovers that the entity can absorb energy, and Ms. Marvel tries to use her similar powers to take the entity out, to no avail. Iron Patriot briefly encases the being in a negative energy shield, but she overloads the shield and disables Osborn’s armor. Just as the entity reaches the baby M.O.D.O.K.s, Ms. Marvel uses the Patriot armor’s batteries to amplify her powers and finally disperses the being.

The Avengers regroup and Osborn instructs Sentry to take the M.O.D.O.K.s to Thunderbolt Mountain, which is where Deadpool later finds them, along with a troop of heavily-armed H.A.M.M.E.R. guards.

Back in New York City, another female energy being - this one green - makes its presence known to a web-slinging Spider-Man, while a pink energy being appears at the New Avengers' hideout where Luke Cage and Wolverine are watching baby Danielle. Cage and Wolverine realize the entity is trying to communicate with them when she uses her energy blasts to form a familiar symbol - the lightning insignia of the original Ms. Marvel, Carol Danvers.
