Synopsis for "No Normal (Part 1 of 5: Meta Morphosis)"
Both Kamala Khan and Nakia "Kiki" Bahadir browse the shelves at Circle Q where Bruno Carrelli works. A jolly Zoe Zimmer proudly enters the shop with Josh Richardson. While in the shop, Josh asks Bruno, Kamala and Nakia if they are available to attend his party. Kamala and Naki respond that they are unable too. After Zoe leaves the shop, Kamala defends Zoe against Nakia's insults.
Later, Kamala daydreams and writes about the Avengers in her fanfiction until her mother requests her presence at the dinner table. Kamala asks her parents if she would be able to go to Josh's party, but her father responds angrily and sends her to her room. Ignoring her father's wishes, Kamala jumps out the window and attends the party. Bruno stops Kamala and suggests that she goes back home. Angrily, she leaves as Terrigen Mist start to swallow up Jersey City.
As the Terrigen Mists activate Kamala's powers, she has a hallucination with The Avengers. She admits that she wants to look more like Captain Marvel. They disappear and Kamala finishes undergoing her Terrigenesis. She finds that she gains blond hair like Captain Marvel with a similar Ms. Marvel costume.
