Mudgear is a mutant from Arakko, genetically modified by the demon mutant Tarn the Uncaring. He was part of the Locus Vile, who confronted the Hellions when they went to Arakko to try to steal the swords of the Swordbearers of Arakko to prevent the tournament in Otherworld.
