Murderous Lion was one of the world's best fighters. A warlord who ruled over the Valley of Gates, which he had won by defeating his rivals.[1] The Twelve Horrors, where a group of martial arts masters who were in service to the Murderous Lion.[2]
In 1942, Murderous Lion was a member of "The Covenant," a group that has been around for many years that hoped to prevent universal threats to Earth and its people.[2] Recently the Covenant was reconstituted, with the Murderous Lion as one of its members.[3]Attributes

Mystical abilities, including: living hair (that was stronger than steel, and smothered and constricted its victims), and the ability to fire mystical blasts (from the ragged hole in his chest, which lacked a heart)
