History
Murderous Lion was a member of the atheistic extremist group named the Covenant. They scaled Mount Wundagore to approach the occult cult named the Evolutionaries. Deeming the Covenant as a threat to their lifestyle, Wyndham dispatched Weapon Hex and Hellhound to intercept and neutralize the invaders. They were successful and killed the entirety of the Covenant.
Six months later, when Weapon Hex rebelled against Wyndham, she used magic to summon the vengeful spirits of those who died as a result of his actions, including the Covenant. The spirits mauled Wyndham to death before vanishing.[1]Notes
- Unlike most characters from Warp World, this version of Murderous Lion is not a mix between any two characters. According to Infinity Wars: Weapon Hex co-writer Ben Blacker, the script simply said "vampire versions of Covenant members Murderous Lion, Menace, and Jefferson Chambers."[2]
