History
The Mutant Amplifier was stolen from S.H.I.E.L.D. by the Masters of Evil then while Nightcrawler and Jean Grey where visiting Muir Island when Ultron sent his drone's on Dr Doom's behalf to kidnap them both he then gave Jean Gray to Arcade where he used mind control on her to distract the heroes while Nightcrawler made an failed escape attempt out of Castle Doom. Dr Doom used the Mutant Amplifier on Nightcrawler to create a portal to Mephisto's Realm and the heroes followed where after a long battle with demons, fire giants and Blackheart the heroes are forced to choose between the two X-Men.[1]
Trivia
- Although it has been mentioned by many people, the actual model does not make an appearance and Nightcrawler does not seem to have any changes to his body after having his mutant powers amplified.
